As you probably know Jewish cuisine is still determined by a large number of religious regulations, which makes this world even more fabulous for us.

 

My relationship with Jewish people and culture started more than 10 years ago, when I met my husband. I met him and became part of a modern Jewish family.

The main figure of the family is the great-grandmother, whose love for life, attitude and modern way of thinking is an example for me to follow. It was her who taught me the following dishes and I am really grateful for introducing me to the secrets of Jewish cuisine. 

 

Come and taste the great recipes of Jewish cuisine and join a multi-religion group. Learn about the history of Central European Jews as well as about the lively Jewish life in Budapest.

 

What it contains:

 

  • 4-course dinner (starter, soup, main course, dessert),
  • authentic Jewish dishes (not kosher),
  • drinks (plum pálinka, 1 bottle of wine/ 2 people, homemade soft drink, mineral water, coffee, tea),
  • a unique gastro programme with a lot of interesing stories and information about Jewish dishes, customs and life in Budapest, 
  • warm hospitality in the Jewish Quarter.

Time:
  • dinner: 6pm - 8.30pm,
  • you are kindly requested to register in advance so that we can agree on the date and meal.
