Cooking adventure in Hungary

Cooking adventure in Hungary

Delightful experience. Kitchen Pixie provided a professional and friendly experience. Enjoyed all the dishes we created. What topped a great experience was sitting down together at the end and taste all the dishes we had prepared. And they were all yummo!

Business dinner in a Hungarian home

Business dinner in a Hungarian home

I looked for a particular program for my foreign business partner in Budapest and I found Kitchen Pixie. We took part in a special private dining. We ate delicious 4-course dinner and drank high-quality wine. Our hosts were nice and the service was professional. We spoke about Hungarian life, culture and food and the atmosphere was excellent, enjoyed it very much. It was a successful evening for my business partner and me, too. I can recommend it to everyone.

Very memorable experience :)

Very memorable experience :)

This was definitely a highlight of our trip (my fiance and I are huge foodies) - what better way to experience true cuisine than by visiting the home of a local and cooking and dining with them? Marti welcomed us right away with slippers, aprons, appetizers, and a delicious drink. Being able to observe and help cook was a great opportunity to learn how to cook traditional Hungarian food. We helped cook beef goulash soup to start and then chicken paprikash for the main course - both were great! Dessert was a poppyseed bread pudding. It was very nice speaking with Marti and her husband as well as meeting her son who dressed in a Spiderman costume (since we are from the same country where Spiderman lives...;-) As a heads up, don't expect exact measurements or cook times for recipes - this is true home cooking - so make sure you are watching her amounts of ingredients! Also, you must be kid friendly!

Aussergewöhnliche Program in Budapest

Aussergewöhnliche Program in Budapest

Great experience

Great experience

And we got to taste typical hungarian dishes. It was very tasteful and we got loads of inspiration to bring back home. Martha and her family wre very interested and helpful in expalining everythin from cooking to the society in general. We can recommend this experience to anyone who would like to get closer to Hungary than what mainstream tourist atractions can offer!
